REGISTRATION FOR PUGET SOUND BIRD FEST
Advance registration through
Edmonds
Parks and Recreation Department is required for certain field
trips where this is indicated under Guided Walks and Field
Trips on the Detailed Schedule. General admission to Bird Fest
is free, and a Registration Table will be located in the lobby
outside of the entrance to the Plaza Room above the
Edmonds Library at 650 Main Street. Registration is open 9:00
am-4:00 pm on Saturday and
10:00 am-4:00 pm on Sunday. Participants are required to visit the
Registration Table before attending any of the Saturday speaker
presentations. The Marketplace for vendors and exhibitors will
be located in the Plaza Room, and the Marketplace will
be open
10:00 am –
4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION
The site for the Artists’ Reception and Opening
Speaker, Bart Rulon, on Friday, September 12, will be held at
the
Edmonds
Conference Center, 201 4th
Avenue North. The Saturday, September 13 speaker presentations
and kid’s activities will take place at the
Frances
Anderson Center, 700 Main
Street, next door to the Plaza Room where the
Registration Table and Marketplace will be located. Please
visit the Registration Table before attending any speaker
presentations on Saturday. The
Frances
Anderson Center
will be closed Sunday, September 14, and all field trips will
leave from the Plaza Room, unless otherwise indicated on
the Detailed Schedule. See the Bird Fest Map for locations of

Parking is free on the streets and in
public parking lots in
Edmonds. Some parking areas have a three-hour
limit. Community Transit buses serve
Edmonds and the surrounding communities.
Shuttle service from the old Woodway High School will be
provided courtesy of the Green Edmonds Environmental Festival.

allowed on guided walks, field trips, or at any of the
presentations or bird-viewing stations.

Please turn
off your cell phones and pagers during the presentations.

Please do
not interrupt speakers by entering after the presentation has
begun.
